What are heel protectors and why do I need them for my Rain Skimmers? Every purchase of Rain Skimmers comes with a free pair of heel protectors--made of soft and spongy natural latex foam, think of them as pillows for your heels! They help relieve slipping or pinching and prevent blisters or chafing on your heels, allowing for maximum comfort despite long periods of wearing your Rain Skimmers.

How do I use heel protectors? Ideally, you apply heel protectors on your Rain Skimmers before wearing them the first time. Peel off the heel protector from its paper backing, hold the edges with your fingertips, and place it along the upper edge of the inner heel of your Rain Skimmers. Press firmly especially along upper edge; use a shoe horn if available. For best results, allow 24 hours before wearing.
